RESEARCH

We appreciate the fact that the life of a project depends heavily on the understanding of the project itself. This is the foundation of every project, and what is collected in this stage is what guides the whole project. Research seeks to understand what situation the project seeks to address, the condition of the situation and how the situation can be addressed. we use the following tools in our research: Surveys, FGDs, questionnaires, interviews and observations (practical research) as well as theoretical tools of research such as archive perusal.

​We employ both qualitative and quantitative research methods to ensure that we have a proper, verifiable and reliable understanding of projects. The knowledge we acquire during research also provides a solid basis for our recommendations to our clients and partners.


PROJECT DESIGN

This involves planning for projects. The projects are designed based on the information collected from the research. During this phase, our team of experts in project design come up with work plans, budgets, timelines, resources and other vital requirements needed to ensure that the project is a success.


PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION

This is the execution of the project. We strive to adhere to the project log frames developed during the project planning phase, and stick to the project goals and objectives.


MONITORING AND EVALUATION

We employ rigorous monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to ensure that our projects achieve the stated and desired goals and objectives. This ensures that achievements and any attendant challenges are recorded, shared and remedial action taken to ensure overall success of the project. Our experts and project managers work hand in hand with the beneficiaries of the projects to ensure valid and reliable data is collected to measure both the success and impact of the project. We share our monitoring and evaluation strategies with the beneficiaries from the onset to ensure that they are not only aware of our methods but also are conversant and comfortable with them.

​Our data collection instruments here include: use of in-depth interviews before, during and after the activities, use of questionnaires after each activity for feedback purposes, focus group discussions before the program, during the implementation of the project and after the activities.
